All our sensitivity was triggered to the maximum on India, the heritage, the sound, the smell, the taste, the colors, the friendly people, the hospitality of India and the very well looking after us by our guide and driver Anil. Met name de chauffeur, Anil Kumar Amar, een heel fijn kerel, geweldig. Hij is een heel lieve man, zorgzaam. Hij was alles voor ons. We hebben een band gekregen met hem, een vriend in India. Ik was toen hier in India met mijn vrouw en werden begeleid door Discover-India. Een jaar later werd het een feit. Met 4 man een geweldige spannende, gewaagde trip over 's werelds hoogste passen. Deze werkelijk onvoorstelbare schitterende trip is mede mogelijk gemaakt door de geweldige medewerking van Ali en Hans van Discover India. Hierbij heel veel dank.   • Dear Ali Fred, Jolande, Roosje, Guusje Nuijten 9 march 2009 We are also for the first time in India and travelling with our 2 daughters of 9 and 12 years old. Travelling with children is completely different (and also for us) so we had to adjust the plans sometimes. We are very glad that we have chosen for Ali. We had a wonderfull time in India. Ali took care for us and looked, saw all the details. We were safe in his hands and especially the children felt themselves very confident with him. Yesterday we were invited for a dinner in his house and met his family. We have had a great time and what a hospitality! Ali, thank you for everything and hopefully we will see you again, or in Holland or in India.

Love for the music and your wonderful food. We had some terrible roads and the car was sometimes complaining, but Ali got us safe from place to place. Always cheerful!!!! Always careful!!   • Gujarat Hans & Wimla 11-01-2008 This is our third trip we are making with Ali and certainly not our last! The first time we met Ali was in July 2006. We had a great time with him in Ramnagar and Nainital. In July 2007 we came back to India. One thing was for sure: We wanted to make a trip with Ali again. Where to go? We decided to go to Kashmir. Ali had never been there before and we liked it very much to go to places which were quite new for us, but also for Ali. We also visited Amritsar, Srinagar, Dharamsala, Shimla and Rishikesh. Then we went on to Nepal, alone. Ali stayed in India, but after two weeks we met him again in Delhi. He took us to his hometown for 2 days. That was the best experience in India for us. His family was very nice to us. It felt like our second home. And now we are in Gujarat. Of course again with Ali, who is not our driver any more, but a great friend. He has never been in Gujarat before and enjoys it very much. Like we do. We have also the opportunity to visit his hometown again, during the Muharram festival. I think this will be a very special experience for us. And next July we come back to India. Then we take Ali to Ladakh. I cannot imagine visiting India again without Ali, our friend. We love India and we love Ali. Highly recommended! Hans & Wimla, Holland

  • 25-11-2006 James & Lauren Dear friend Ali (Baba), Well, where do we start? You have driven us over 1000 km (Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore, Jaipur, and Udaipur) and kept us amused along the way. You tell funny jokes in your best English, which makes them even funnier! Even when things didn't go to plan (puncture, no tigers, hotel changes) you always had an answer: 'Your problem, big problem, small problem, my problem, no problem!' You even treated us to some Hindi singing. In return we taught you some useful English. You have made our visit to India one we won't forget. Your humour, your good driving have made us feel safe and we learnt more from you than we could have done from our Bible! (travel guide). Thanks for a wonderful trip (except for the shopping!).
